As part of Blackboard’s continuous delivery release schedule, Blackboard (Course Resources) will be upgraded to v3900.91.0 on 2 May 2024. Each monthly release contains new features or feature enhancements, as well as maintenance items. No disruption to service is expected.

Investigating
We have received reports that some users are facing difficulties in adding new users to their existing or new groups/teams in the Microsoft Teams New Desktop Client. Our team is currently investigating the issue and working on a resolution.
The problem appears to be related to the search functionality when adding new users to an existing group on Teams. If you have been affected by this issue and require to add new users to your team urgently, we recommend using the alternative portal available via https://myaccount.microsoft.com/groups/groups-i-own to update your membership details.

Monday 15th April until Sunday 28th April inclusive - between 9pm and midnight every evening
Digital Solutions and Services will be carrying out critical security maintenanceon our campus IT network over 14 consecutive evenings. This work will affect on-campus wired and wireless network access, telephony and internet connectivity.
If you are on campus during this period between 9pm and midnight, or are connecting to PCs on campus remotely, please make sure that your work is saved regularly to avoid losing it in the event that the connection drops. There is also a risk that processes which need network connectivity overnight might fail if they are running on campus devices during this maintenance period.
We'll complete the work as soon as we can each night to keep any downtime to a minimum and thank you for your patience while we carry out this essential work to keep our University network secure.
