We have received reports that some users are facing difficulties in adding new users to their existing or new groups/teams in the Microsoft Teams New Desktop Client. Our team is currently investigating the issue and working on a resolution.
The problem appears to be related to the search functionality when adding new users to an existing group on Teams. If you have been affected by this issue and require to add new users to your team urgently, we recommend using the alternative portal available via https://myaccount.microsoft.com/groups/groups-i-own to update your membership details.
