On Friday 25th September 2026 between the hours of 2pm and 3pm the AnyConnect VPN service is undergoing planned maintenance to enhance security.

If you are connected to the university network via AnyConnect VPN during this time you may be disconnected. Please ensure work relying on this connection is regularly saved to prevent data loss.

Affects new students getting their Blackboard account created and modules attached, they will receive the following error:

Course Resources is currently unable to log into your account using single sign-on. Please contact the IT Service Centre for assistance.

PeopleSoft System Maintenance: Wednesday 23rd September between 6:00am and 9:00am

The University of Derby's Student Record System (Oracle PeopleSoft) will be unavailable to staff and students due to essential maintenance.

During this time the following facilities will be unavailable:

UDo • Documents | Grades | Profile | Student Record | Unicard tiles • Your personal information • Forms held on your student record • Access to submit RACs • Access to make payments. Unicard printing will also be unavailable at this time.

Agent Portal • My Applicants | All Applicants | All Enrolled | Apply | Agent Management tiles.

The Online Enrolment Systems will also be unavailable at this time. Please note that throughout this period you'll still be able to access all other areas of UDo/Agent Portal.
