  TurnItIn Service Restored We can confirm that TurnItIn service has been restored. The service was unavailable between 11:42 and 14:16 on the 2nd of November. If you were trying to use the TurnItIn system (via Blackboard) to submit coursework, mark submissions, or create submission points, you would have experienced issues during this time.

• Investigating

  TurnItIn Service Outage

  We have been notified by TurnItIn that their system is currently down, from around 12noon on 2nd of November.

  TurnItIn is the system we use within the VLE (courseresources.derby.ac.uk) for submission and marking of coursework and assignments.

  Students and staff who are currently trying to access TurnItIn (eg to submit coursework/asssignments, to mark work, or create new submission points) will be unable to do so at present, until TurnItIn have restored the system.

  We are monitoring this situation and this status page will be updated later.

  Further communications and actions will follow as needed to impacted users.
