Issues affecting printing

Update

Digital Services & Solutions have investigated and discovered an issue with printing and email to print.

While issues for print queues and Mobility print are now resolved. Email to print is currently unavailable while we investigate and attempt to restore service.

If those using mobility print have any further issues, please follow the below instructions to resolve the issue:

  • Please go to https://mobprint.derby.ac.uk via your web browser.
  • The page should prompt to open Mobility Print, click open to a notification in the bottom corner of your screen that says "fetching new printers". Once this is completed then your mobility print queues will be updated and working again.
  • If you do not receive a prompt from your browser to open Mobility print then you just need to click on "Connect and get my printers".

Alternatively, you can reinstall Mobility Print via Company Portal.

Please note: If you are using mobility print with notifications off then you may not see any errors as mobility print notifies users via Windows notifications

Incident resolved We’ve fixed it!

Due to an unexpected service incident, users of Turnitin, Turnitin UK, iThenticate, Crossref, Turnitin Similarity, Originality, and Simcheck, and those accessing the service via an integration may have experienced delays in Similarity Report generation.

We are pleased to advise that the incident has been resolved. The incident occurred between the following times:

PST: November 17th, 16:00 - November 17th, 22:30 GMT: November 18th, 00:00 - November 18th, 06:30 AEDT: November 18th, 11:00 - November 15th 17:30
