Vendor scheduled update. Blackboard have said: "We will try to minimize downtime and do not plan on using these entire maintenance windows, however we will use these entire maintenance windows if necessary. Collaborate Ultra customers will experience intermittent availability during these maintenance windows. How will users access this release? Users will automatically have access to Collaborate Ultra v21.04 after the update."

Emergency Maintenance is complete. For all customers using Turnitin Feedback Studio, we have restored the ability to submit papers and view similarity scores, access submissions, and use grading tools. Details of student paper matches in the similarity report are not currently available. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused as we continue to investigate and work towards complete service restoration.

The cause of Hive's earlier outage has now been resolved and a fix deployed: https://status.hivestreaming.com/incidents/b0lws2mjbzww
As a result, we have re-enabled the Hive integration on effected sites and validated the error no longer occurs.

We have identified increased error rates during content viewing on sites with Hive integrations enabled due to an outage caused by Hive.
We have mitigated the issue by disabling Hive integrations on the Panopto sites of customers affected. We will monitor the Hive outage an re-enable the Hive integration when the outage is resolved.

Scheduled Maintenance 20 March 2021 (all regions) Blackboard Ally will be undergoing scheduled maintenance to upgrade our Elasticsearch infrastructure. During the maintenance window, the Institutional Report and Configuration UI will be unavailable. Ally will still be handling events and new files, however processing may be delayed during this maintenance period. Europe Maintenance for institutions hosted from the Frankfurt (Germany) AWS Data Center will take place on Saturday 20 March from 6am-1pm Central European Time / 5am-12pm UK time.
