As part of Blackboard’s continuous delivery release schedule, Blackboard (Course Resources) will be upgraded to v3900.60.0 on 2 March 2023. Each monthly release contains new features or feature enhancements, as well as maintenance items. No disruption to service is expected.

The issue affecting the Blackboard app has now been resolved by our supplier.
Investigating
DS&S are aware of problems with the Blackboard App at the moment, our supplier is working on fixing the issue and analysing the root cause. This issue is affecting the mobile app only, and staff and students are recommended to use a web browser to access Blackboard if they are experiencing issues on their mobile app. We’ll share further updates as they become available to us.

VENDOR UPDATE: Incident resolved
We’ve fixed it!
Due to an unexpected service incident, users in the Americas may have experienced slower Similarity Report generation times in Turnitin Similarity, SimCheck, Originality and Crossref Similarity Check, when submitting Microsoft PowerPoint files. We are pleased to advise that the service has been restored.
The incident occurred between the following times:
PDT: March 26th 17:50 - March 26th 02:53 GMT: March 27th 00:50 - March 27th 09:53 AEDT: March 27th 11:50 - March 27th 20:53
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused if you were impacted by today’s incident.

New incident: Identified Due to an unexpected service incident, users of the following products Turnitin Similarity, SimCheck, Originality and Crossref Similarity Check, may be experiencing slower Similarity Report generation times when submitting Microsoft Powerpoint files.
During this time, users may find that submissions are slower to generate a Similarity Report.
