TurnItIn are currently investigating user reports of a potential service incident with Turnitin Feedback Studio, and iThenticate. They regret any inconvenience this may cause and will post another update as soon as we learn more.

TurnItIn Service Outage

We have been notified by TurnItIn that their system is currently down, from around 12noon on 2nd of November.

TurnItIn is the system we use within the VLE (courseresources.derby.ac.uk) for submission and marking of coursework and assignments.

Students and staff who are currently trying to access TurnItIn (eg to submit coursework/asssignments, to mark work, or create new submission points) will be unable to do so at present, until TurnItIn have restored the system.

We are monitoring this situation and this status page will be updated later.

Further communications and actions will follow as needed to impacted users.

Details: Maintenance update: The Europe (EU) Panopto Cloud site maintenance scheduled for Wednesday, November 1st is now rescheduled.

On Saturday, November 4th, your Panopto Cloud site will be taken offline for database maintenance. This upgrade will occur from 12:00 am to 1:30 am GMT. We expect up to 10 minutes of downtime. There will be no downtime on November 1st. We apologize for not providing a full week's notice of the new downtime and thank you for your feedback on the initial scheduling.
